On Octorber 16th, the retired teachers Party branch meeting was held in the Literature and Journalism School (LJS) at Room620, BlockA, Zhixin Building. The meeting was hosted by the Party branch secretary, Professor Xie Hongxiang. Wang Desheng, the Party secretary of the LJS, and Shen Wen, the office director of the school, also attended the meeting.

Firstly, Wang Desheng introduced the working arrangements and its implementation in the process of the educational practice about the mass line, and presented the discipline and personnel construction and the sino-foreign cooperative project. In the respect of the social service, some bachelor projects hosted by LJS were operated smoothly in the summer. It cooperated with some renowned universities from Germany, Spain and South Korea. Secondly, the school was about to set up a senior seminar with the theme of the Entrepreneur Humanistic Quality and Improvement of the Managerial Realm, and to achieve a win-win situation between the school’s social service and sustainable development of enterprises. Lastly, Wang delivered that the faculty congress would be held recently, and expressed that all the retired teachers were always the dazzling pearls of the school, so the school would concern their tangible interest, and hoped they could give suggestions to promote the development of the school.

Shen Wen specifically introduced the latest policy about retired teachers, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the retired teachers for their cooperation and support again and hoped to resolve their difficulties and problems. Then, retired teachers made comments and suggestions on the development of the school and some issues such as the treatment and subsidies. The meeting made complete success in a warm atmosphere. For these retired teachers, returning to the school made them feel at home, as if they went back to the nostalgic times when they worked and studied together like a family.
